Milkshake brings all the mechanics to the yard?
I have a 2011 LX570 (93k miles), and the last 2x I have changed the oil I have noticed the milkshake of death concentrated in the oil cap. I do not see it in the drained oil. Our weather here in the midwest has been beyond crazy. It has bounced between -20 and 60 all within a couple of days. Is the milkshake a result of weather, PCV valve, blown head gasket, or etc? I can not tell if the antifreeze level has dropped. I have checked, but it is tough to tell. I'm sure I'm leaving out other pertinent details. Thanks in advance for the help.

In the Porsche world that is known as "mayonnaise." It accumulates during the cold months of the year in northern regions. The solution is several trips long enough to get all parts of the engine at normal operating temperature. It is an emulsion of oil and condensation. The condensation forms during short trips where the engine oil doesn't reach a temperature high enough to drive off the water.

The solution is several trips long enough to get all parts of the engine at normal operating temperature. It is an emulsion of oil and condensation. The condensation forms during short trips where the engine oil doesn't reach a temperature high enough to drive off the water.
