Rear Seat Entertainment Question
On a 2017 LX570, is there an ability to have the rear passengers watching their DVD on their headphones, and being able to listen to the Radio in the front?
Pages 220-260 on the Navigation Owners Manual don't give me a yes or no.

Appreciate any feedback, thanks!

The set-up seems to be a bit cumbersome; its nothing like any of my Odyssey vans.
On my 2018, you use the remote to turn on the rear power, and also power on the screens. You have to slide the sector on the top of the remote to select which screen you want to control. Once you power then screens on, and have a DVD in the player, you should be able to use the remote to pick which input source the screens are getting. Choose DVD.
One thing that is a bit odd - there is a "button" that needs to be clicked on the top right corner of the screen, using the remote to navigate to the "button." On it, there is a picture of a speaker, and a picture of a headphone, with an arrow in the middle. It seems that once you have selected the DVD input on the rear screen, you will likely hear the DVD through the car speakers, but using the remote to navigate to the button on the top right of the screen should switch the DVD audio off of the car speakers and on to the headphones.
Once you've done that, you can listen to the radio etc up front on the car speakers.
Ive only had a mine a few days, and that is how I remember doing it. Let me know if that works or not.

My kids are 21+ years old. So I've never even turned on my rear DVDs. Any chance to be able to watch the local news (or any other TV channel) on the rear entertainment system?

There is no TV receiver in Lexus. Therefore, there is no native way to do so. With that said, you can always bring a device that is capable to receive tv signals and with HDMI or analog A/V out put to plug in to the rear entertainment system's HDMI or Aux input for watch TV programs.
