Default Need to replace H2O pump and rear shocks

I recently bought an LX570 (2008). Inspection indicates that I need to replace the water pump (and belts) as well as the rear shocks (fluid leaking).

While replacing these items, is there anything that should be / recommended to be replaced at the same time? Like, replacing the water pump when you do the timing belt (I know it doesn't apply in this case, but same idea). Any bushings or bearings or anything? Thermostats? Anything?

Thanks.

Not knowing the trucks mileage, all I can suggest is a careful check of hoses (replace as necessary) and replacement of heater hose Ts if you're approaching 90-100K.

If the diffs, transmission, and transfer case haven't had their fluids replaced in the last 2 years, I'd do that.

Most important, imo, is to drain, flush, and bleed the AHC system. That needs to be done every 2 years, again imo.

Thanks. I've got about 110K miles on it. Planning to do the diff/transmission fluids with the 120k service.

As the rear shocks are replaced, planning to replace the AHC fluid as well.

I guess I was wondering if there is something else that I should replace while the water pump or the rear shocks are removed.

You're welcome. Off the top of my head, nothing else I can recommend other than changing fluids that Toyota claims are "lifetime".

You should be able to see scheduled maintenance items online in the owners area on lexus.com. You can register, log in, input your VIN and see any services done by Lexus since the truck was first delivered. You can check 200 series info here...https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/wel...-first.550580/ . The FAQ thread directly below is also a worthwhile read.
