You can try buffing/polishing/and sealing the lights. Lots of tutorials online if you search. If they are too far gone, your best bet/price will be a set of used OEM lights on eBay.

I had great results using 3M's polishing kit...about $30 at your local parts store. All you need is an electric drill. This was on wife's horse hauler Ram 2500. You'll get a better job if you can pull the headlight assemblies...if you can't do that, double or triple masking tape over painted areas close to the headlights works well.

Yes, you can get great results as long as the wear is on the surface, once the plastic hazes too far it needs to be replaced.

I have a 2008 also with yellowing headlights. I used the 3M kit with good success, however it returned in 6 months and appears even deeper then before. I would assume there was a factory UV filter on outer layer that wore down the first time, but the first 3M treatment likely removed quite a bit of material and final exposed layer looked great and smooth, but was much more susceptible to UV damage.

At this point, I feel the plastic is too thin. I also may point out there are sealers that claim to slow down this issue, but haven't tried any.

How about trying this process. Only cost like under something like $8. The supplies are way more than needed to do both headlights. If you buy the Rust-Oleum American Accents Ultra Cover 2X Gloss Clear Spray Paint and Primer 12 oz at Walmart it is only $3.86 versus Amazon at $22 for the same thing. The sand papers are relatively inexpensive.
