Default Front headlight cost

Just found out what a new front headlight costs- just south of $1700. Yea that's right, just ONE, not both, just one. Don't ask!! This is on an 06 330 by the way.

That's cheap. AFS headlights cost around $2,500 a piece and that was a few years ago.

Please make sure you read the many threads pertaining to this before you actually spend that kind of coin.

First off, did the headlight stop illuminating and a bulb did not correct the problem? If so it is the ballast caused by moisture. Please do a search on "headlight computer", "ballast", etc.

Default cheap headlight

Todd,

a few month ago i was looking into adding LEDs to my headlights and from my research ebay was the best place. Look around but the prices should be around $150 a pair and $250 for AFS

These prices is as of september 2009 and the lights are in like new condition and make sure they include the bulb, blast, leveling computer and for AFS there is another control unit. All these parts are all build into the headlight unit so if the person just pulled it straight off the car then everything should be all there.

Don't buy this from the dealer, they are a rip off. Also the lights are very very very to install, like all other headlights just be-careful with the plastic tabs.

Hope this helps

Default Thanks all

this is an insurance deal. I was just posting to express my SHOCK at the cost of these things. Good grief, that is 3x what they cost for my BMW.

^^^^^1, great advice, always use Ebay, not the stealership for lights
