Snow Chains
Does Lexus recommend snow chains on all 4 tires for the LX?
Looking to source some chains for some mountain adventures this winter and seeing conflicting info of snow chains on 4x4 trucks.

We use dedicated snow tires on the LX and Land Cruiser. Going over Donner we're used to getting thumbs-up and a smile from the. Knock wood, we've yet to be stuck.
I use Blizzaks DM-V2 but I still carry chains although I never needed them (carrying chains is a law in California at R2 chain control). I purchased these for my 275/65R18 tires:

I tested them and they worked fine. They are pretty easy to install. They can be useful even with good winter tires and 4x4 when the road is extremely icy (or at California R3 chain requirements, which I've never seen). On the other side, when the road is so icy, they would probably close it.
