lost key fob under drivers seat
So my kid somehow lost the fob under the drivers seat and there's a wire conduit that it fell down into. Anyone ever be lucky enough to have this happen to them and have a way of getting it back? Thanks, Phil
Fob inside a wire conduit? Doesn't seem like it would fit. Since your kid has smaller hands have them go in there and fish it out.
Could always unbolt the seat for better access, don't disconnect any wires unless the battery is disconnected first!

apparently, a 2021 570 has a hole large enough to completely swallow the key, my kid is 6'3 so his hands are pretty large. I'll keep the rec to not unplug anything in mind. Thanks
Unusual problem. I recently found a key in a friends car that was lost for 6 years it was trapped in the mesh that lines the under side of the rear seat. Shouldn't be hard (famous last words) to unbolt the seat and move it enough to find the key.
Sorry for assuming your kid was a child.

Usually you can reach most items if you move the seat all of the way up and forward or backward.
Otherwise just pop off the bolt covers, unbolt the seat (4 bolts) and just tilt the seat back. No need to unplug any wires.

Pop the 4 plastic covers off the seat mounting bolts. Run the seat all the way forward, use a 14mm wrench to remove the 2 back bolts. They will be quite tight. Then run the seat all the way back, and remove the 2 front mounting bolts. Tip the whole seat towards the back. Retrieve your object. Might as well vacuum under there as well. Then rock the seat back level, replace the 2 front bolts, run the seat forward and replace the 2 rear bolts. Snap the plastic bolt covers back on, and you’re done.
BTW this is the same way you get to the Levinson amplifier in its cavity in the floor under the seat to replace it. I just did this yesterday for the second time, and it took less than 30 minutes total.

I think it's actually a large air vent under there, maybe to help divert air up into the ventilated seats. But regardless, I was a little alarmed at the size of the opening when I dropped my key fob and it slid under the seat...fortunately it did not go into that hole but as I was moving my hand around under there I was surprised at how large it seemed. Good luck with the retrieval!
Just be aware that under the seat, running from one side to the other, and directly under the seat is a large well that the Levinson amplifier sits in. There is enough space around all 4 sides for a set of keys to drop down to the bottom. There is a carpet over it, but the carpet is slit and flapped back to allow ventilation. The amplifier has 2 small fans on the amplifier end nearest the door. Blind probing can push something down into this well, making it virtually impossible to retrieve with the seat in place.
