Cool "New" 2020 LX - Where do I start?

Hello CL,

I just picked up a lightly used 2020 LX570 today (white on beige) 3rd Row, Luxury Package.

Looking to get started with some of the basic "upgrades" that are tried and tested by the experts here.

Performance, Exterior, Interior, etc...

Links, pics, youtube channels, videos, etc. all welcomed.

If there is a similar thread that already exists, please point me in that direction and I will go quietly. Hoping to be a productive and helpful member here for a long time to come.

I also have a 2018 RX350L so if anyone has any suggestions for that one I'll take them as well, but the LX is priority for now as I think that will be in the stable for a long time to come.

Thanks,
Del

One thing I have noticed is lack of storage in the middle console for wallets, phones, pens, change, etc. I found this and not only does it fit well it’s very functional. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005...b2f09995878d-1

Thanks Matt! I may need to order one or both. I am a little disappointed in the cupholder situation in this vehicle so I may need to add some additional capacity there as well. I appreciate the link!

Look on the IH8MUD forum for a guy who 3D prints cup holder replacements. Huge upgrade.
Here is his website http://www.bh3dprinting.com/product/...le-cup-holder/

Shoulda' added this to the post above...

In the Performance category, the only real addition I'd consider is a supercharger, but you'll see another ~$7K with installation. You can also kiss any remaining warranty g'bye. So called "performance" air cleaners are sucker-bait, as are exhaust systems. If you think Toyota doesn't spend millions to get a bit more performance and mpg out of the truck, it's you're money to waste.

A cheap addition for storage is a tray for the center console...check ebay or amazon...around $15 or so.

I have that cooler box in the center console. Wonder if I can get a tray for it.

Amazon or eBay. It will have "Land Cruiser" printed on it if that bothers you. < $20. It holds change among other things.

Did you happen to miss my post above yours??

hey @hankinid no I saw your post, I just didn't know if the holder applied to the cooler box. I test drove another LX that had a tray and no cooler box. That was my point. Thank you for your help!

I test drove a stripper LX...no cool box but it had a plastic basket in the cool box...the basket set at the bottom of the box and had a plastic handle...like a perforated plastic bucket.
