Please let us know how your reliability and any issues you encountered... Of course the factory warranty is void.

Just looked at the harrop... that looks like a good choice.
I'm contemplating a Magnuson 2650 on top of a XAT built 6.8 liter. Definitely a noticeable power increase.

To clarify, the OP bolted the Stage one Harrops kit on with no tuning and has been running great on its own "self learning" OEM tune?

If you are asking me - I started this post - Ive been running this Supercharger on my 2019 LX for over 35,000 miles and have had ZERO issues. I absolutely love this LX, and it required no special turning. Within a day or two, it was quiet & smooth, effortless torque and has been that way since day one. I had no idea how I am ever going to be able to part with this LX, and go to a new LX V6.

Thank you for the quick response.

Im contacting Harrop this week to get more information but after reading over their Tech Flyer and install kit last night, it looks like the factory ECU tuning is more than "safe" with the included fuel regulator and fuel pump, etc.

For what its worth, my wife and I had always planned to enjoy our 2017 LX570 for a while then ultimately upgrade to the new LX600. Last year we drove one, ready to take the next step, but were ultimately disappointed. The cabin isnt as roomy, the trunk seemed smaller and while the performance was obviously better, we had our doubts on the longevity of a twin turbo small displacement motor moving such a heavy vehicle.

The end result, we decided to buy a truck that we knew we'd likely only keep for 4-6 years and ended up with a new GLS580. The twin turbo V8 won us over and I got to keep the LX. Now looking to make it more fun

Thanks for the periodic updates on your supercharger experience. Great to hear the install has been without issue.

Yeah, good to hear a positive experience with this type of upgrade. I almost pulled the trigger on the Harrop SC last Christmas, while communicating with Ryan (super great guy @ Harrop), but at the last minute I had to change course. I would love to do this at the same time I address the leaking valley plate, but the decision between Stage 1 or Stage 2 will further delay me...never mind the time needed to do all of this work myself...1st world problems...

If I were to go with Stage 2, there would be additional work (different injectors, etc) and I would need to find a shop in Houston who has a proper dyno and who knows how to use HP Tuners...I'm guessing someone like Prospeed.

I already contacted them about purchasing the stage 1 kit and installing it and they wanted $11K, which seemed excessive.
I guess I should have worked harder in school.
