2006 LX 470 XTRA Power

Do you find the additional power offered in the '06 470 is very noticeable?

Nope, not worth the 40k premium over our 99LX. GX with vvt was not that great either. In the end, I was given the green light to finally install the TRD supercharger in our LX. Now, its a keeper and power to spare.

I think there is a tremendous difference between the 2006 and the 1999. Not only does the 40bhp make a difference but so does the extra gear in the tranny.

The LX isn't designed to be a Ferrari but it's now got plenty of power for an SUV, IMO.
