Has anyone got their LX low-pressure fuel pump recall done at the dealer? Heard it'll require dropping the fuel tank and will take 1-2 days. Does it really take that long?

The less gas in the tank, the faster it can be dropped...though brim full no way will it take 1 to 2 days. Where did you hear that???
Ask your service guy the standard time to R&R the tank. Easiest way imo to access the fuel pump is by pulling out the 2nd row of seats. There's an access plate under the carpet that allows you to disconnect fuel and electrical lines and remove the pump. I'd bet if you drop the tank, you won't be able to access what you need since you can't lower the tank down far enough.
What delays TSB's and recalls is simply no parts at the dealer. I would not take it in until the service guy tells me they have parts on hand for my truck. Dealers normally order recall and tsb parts per VIN as that's the only way they don't have to pay for the parts.

I wasn't aware there was a recall on the fuel pump. Haven't received a notice in the mail yet.
Is this an official Lexus recall or TSB? What year LX does this recall apply to?
Does anyone know why the '16 &'17 LX are not recalled? My '16 Tundra is not involved yet because of the TRD blower (different pump) but I'm sure it is coming.
Technically I'm running a '15 fuel pump in the Tundra.
I did send Lexus an email about this recall. Here's their response.
Dear Mr. Nayak,
Thank you for contacting Lexus about your 2018 LX 570, VIN JTJHY7AXXXXXXXXXX. We appreciate the opportunity to provide clarity to your inquiry.
We have conducted this search on your behalf and confirmed there are no open Safety Recalls or Service Campaigns for this vehicle. This means your vehicle is not affected by any recalls for the fuel pump and no further action is needed. If we do initiate any type of Safety Recall Campaign (SSC) in the future, you will be notified directly via first class mail.
Your email has been documented at our National Headquarters under file #21032.
We hope this information has been helpful, but if we can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for choosing Lexus for your driving needs.
Had mine done yesterday, dropped it off in the AM and was done this morning, had a RX450H Loaner, was nice, had not driven one before.
I called my dealer about the recall almost 2 months ago, took a while to get the parts, but they got it in late last week.
When I dropped it off it was almost on Empty, Range said I had about 20 miles left, they filled back up with 18.8 Gal.
'Filled 18.8 Gallons of gas'? That's very nice of them. Wonder how they bill Lexus Corporate for reimbursement of those 18.8 gallons?
it’s part of recall. You can even ask for long term rental until recall service has done since it’s a safety related recall. When I got my recall notice for my GX460, they indicated the parts and schedule will be six weeks before it can be performed. I got the Lexus arranged rental for 90 days free of charge, until the service can be performed. During the waiting time, you will sign the waiver for “storing” your car at your own place. Of cause you have the option just leave it at Lexus if you choose to do so. My recall notice also specified to leave an empty tank possible for the recall, Lexus will fill the tank after service.
