It has a clean Carfax and it’s a one owner leased return being sold at a Lexus dealer. Also has clean service records. I’m just not sure if the truck is worth $ 56,000 with 56000 miles on it. Thanks
Sounds like a good price. I searched for 6+ months for the best price and finally purchased on a ‘17 one owner with 50k miles for $57k. Most others were going for around $60k... that was before COVID though so I’m not sure what that’s doing to used car prices?
is it certified? price seems reasonable, but if I was in your shoes I would go for a certified on if you spending 55+. go a 16 low mileage certified rather than a 17 high mile not certified. At least you don't have to worry about brakes/tires and other maintenance items right away. + you just little more warranty. Prices are about 5k lower now..comparing before the covid 19.
Also post us a link of which car you are looking at?
There are not much of difference between years for 16 onwards.
I think that would be a reasonable amount - keep in mind that car is ~3 years old now and went new for right about $95k-$100k so getting a reliable (and I think great looking) SUV for ~45% off its new sticker price is solid. I'd just
- ensure maintenance is kept up to date via Lexus owners website
- Tires have good tread or have been replaced (21" tires are ~$400/each)
- Consider a somewhat-costly 60k mile service (brakes common replacement item for such a heavy vehicle, AHC recommended servicing at 60k miles)
