I recently purchased a used 2017 LX 570. During my due diligence, I was unable to figure out how to get the front camera to engage (the park assist had been turned off, I later figured out). After I got the truck home and I was able to turn it on, I noticed about 1/2 of the front camera view is obstructed (see photo). Exterior inspection of the camera shows NO signs of a rock chip or crack in the bezel. Camera on the outside looks to be in perfect condition (assuming I'm looking at the right one? Directly under the grill). I've seen prior posts regarding rock chips but none that show what I'm seeing. Pic is kind of bad but the view isn't just blurry but looks to be completely blocked in that one section. Any ideas or help you can provide is appreciated!!
EDIT: Having problems attaching picture... Working on it!
Could be moisture or condensation inside the lens due to a compromised seal. Depending on where you live this time of year, it is going to be hard to try and dry it out to see if this is the issue. I had a backup camera on another vehicle have this happen. Couldn't tell what was wrong until I took a really bright light and looked at the lens close up. I could see the fogging inside the camera body, on the inside of the lens. Had to replace the camera. That one was cheap. I don't think this one is. Good luck.
