Default Crossbars for LX

Nebula Gray .... 😏
Hey everyone,

I just traded in my GX for a 19 LX. Any recommendations on a cross bar system? I originally had an Inno set on the GX to use my Skybox 18, however I can't use it anymore since their flush rails systems are different.

Congratulations! She's beautiful. Looks almost like my atomic silver.
I installed OEM cross bars (PT278-60180). Brand new for $250 on Ebay back in Feb. Super easy to install.

Awesome, and thank you. Is there a lot of wind noise, was wondering if a fairing was needed. I looked at the Thule set up, but man that one is quite pricey. I found an Inno setup for $420.

Did the stock set up leave clearance for a cargo box not to touch the roof?

No wind noise at all. I was back and forth for a couple of weeks do I get the OEM ones or the Thule. Rack Outfitters gave me 20% off. They hold 220 pounds where the OEM was about 150 and they were closer to the roof. Although they say Lexus max weight is 165. That said I like how much stronger they are. I have the largest Thule box and it fits great on the bars. Rear door opens as well. Also lots of attachments for bikes, Kayaks etc.

I also recommend the Thule Evo WingBars, absolutely no wind noise, I have the OEM crossbars on my LX, but just got a Jag Wagon and put the wingbars on it a couple weeks ago. Also nice to have matching locks for everything, ski rack, bike rack, rooftop box, 1 key for everything.

Another vote for the Thule system. I've got the Thule Aeroblade (generation earlier than Evo Wingblade) and they don't make noise, nor do I see a decrease on my MPG. Not to mention they look great.
