Can anyone help me with this? I have opened up the rear lift gate and opened up each side to see what was in there. To the right there was a box that had “B” on it with the tools listed in the pic below. The other side is missing. I assume that is “A,” can someone share with me what is included in that box and part number, so I can look into purchasing one.

There is nothing on the left side (at least for the U.S. version). I've never noticed the letter "B", but you are right, it's there. Maybe, on some other markets, there can be something like A box with Warning Triangle or some other mandatory accessories.

In other markets, it may contain a triangular reflector...obnoxiously priced if you can find one in the U.S., or import one from Europe or the ME if you're stuck on oem. I just throw in some road flares, a trucker's foldable reflector, and a decent socket and breaker bar for lug nuts, as oem is "interesting" to use in real life.

If we think we'll be on FS or BLM roads in brown bear habatat, that box holds a last ditch Ruger Redhawk in .44 magnum, complementing a couple of shotguns on the back seat.

Just be careful while driving close to California borders (like here on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe). There are worse things then bears or mountain lions...

Appreciate the feedback. Just thought it to be weird to have the straps with nothing there. And yes there was a lettering of “B” on the box that had the tools. It’s been a So. California truck all it’s live. Wonder why Europe version gets the extra accessories?

No idea, but thinking maybe it's a government requirement...like yellow tint headlights in France??

Some markets, like Germany, require a folding red reflective warning triangle. Comes folded in a case in that tailgate tool box. Germany also requires 2 reflective vests, and a first aid kit. The first aid kit is behind the panel on the right just inside the tailgate. I believe US marketed Lexuses include a firt aid kit; at least all 5 of my Lexuses have had them. The Lexus labeled Japanese made warning triangle is about $50.

I have an old BMW and have played the game of acquiring the German stuff that was not included in US marketed Bimmers. Things like a first aid kit, reflective triangle, vests, fire extinguisher, rechargeable glove compartment flashlight, coin holder to replace the ash tray, and spare gas can that fits inside the spare tire's wheel. I'm not nearly as **** about my Lexus.
