i'm on an iphone x. people say that it sounds like i'm talking to them from the back seat. i hear fine on my end. anyone else?

dealer says 'no issues' when the tech paired his phone and made phone calls.

 

There is a setting, not sure where-but def in the phone or BT menu, but its called "Transmit Volume". It affects the sensitivity of the mic. i would play with this until you get the right balance.

 

thanks. this is actually in the 'service menu', so not accessible from the typical front end visible screens. accessing the service menu involves pushing the 'display' button and then clicking the top left and bottom left corners of the touch screen several times. there are videos on youtube on how to do this.

 

The service menu lookup may be different depending on model year...my '13 works with starting engine, pressing the 'display' button while turning the parking lights off and on three times.
