Cracked my passenger side mirror signal, ordered a new one already. Have a couple of questions or maybe someone can point me in the right direction prior to me tackling the job myself.
Do I need to remove the glass? (Please tell me no)
I pry from the inner part of the cap (closest to window) where the painted section meets the black section?

Unfortunately YES, you do have to remove the mirror glass first, then disconnect one wire harness and two pin connects (for heating elements). The cover is help by multiple plastic clips inside mirror housing, which can only be accessed by removing the glass,

My driver's side mirror lens had condensation in it. I could find no cracks or chips, but the dealer said it had a chip which prevented it from being a warranty repair....go figure. I was a bit afraid of taking off the mirror, so I had the dealership do it for me. They charged $330, but I had a 10% off coupon from their website, so $300 + tax. I wasn't very happy about that price, but I also didn't want to screw it up.
