Default 2018 LX570 Year End Deals

I have an offer on the table for an LX570 3-row for $82K which is well below $97.5K MSRP. Also getting 72 month financing with $10K down at 4.9% APR. No add ons like GAP, warranty, etc. Is this is great deal? Should I try to do better? Thanks for input. This is a huge commitment and a massive amount of debt I'm taking on...looking for input I think from recent buyers. Found a lot of info on leasing, but nothing about buying online. Thanks! -Z

That is a great deal especially for a fully loaded 3 row. I paid $87k plus tag, title etc a year ago. So your deal is lower than mine.

thanks for the quick response. it's year end and the 2019 LX's are already starting to show up online so i think dealers are getting aggressive on the 1,000 or so LX's in US inventory right now. they have a lot of $100K trucks to get rid of.

I recently bought a fully loaded less ski rack for $80,500. I had three dealers bidding for the sale.

great deals out there and they have some pebble beach demo which can be under $80k fully loaded but has miles and scratches.

4.9% APR is high if you have good credit. Credit Unions typically offer the lowest APR. The selling price is good.

My bank is 2.9% on new with good credit if your dealer has some great finance rates usually your bank will match or come close for financial institution loans not o% or 1,9% from manufactures!
I too have been looking at LX570 but can't seem to find those deals in the midwest, I take that the are California Dealers.
Did you happen to get pricing on 2 row version?
Enjoy

2018 3 row, currently there is $7,000 cash back on all 2018 LX 570. Anywhere between $80k to $81k is a good deal. Just need to find a very aggressive dealer who just want to move some cars. Best to wait til end of the month. They are more aggressive to hit their numbers.

Socal, buy at SoCal and ask them to ship it to you.
$1k for delivery?

If I had a confirmed in writing "great deal", I might consider a one way airplane ticket and a drive home in the new LX.

I'm also in the market for 2018 LX570. The lowest quote for a fully loaded I got so far from the dealers is $83,500 + taxes, fees (includes $7k rebate). With the taxes it will be over $91k.
Do you think it's a good deal? I offered $85k OTD but got declined. Do you think I should wait for the holidays for a better deals? I'm in Nor Cal bay area.
Appreciate your input.

Thanks,
Dave

AJ, The Lexus dealer in Englewood, NJ has a bunch of 2-rows and is advertising them on CarGurus for $76.5K. They are pretty close to you in Michigan. Good luck! - Z

I bought it on 8/26/2018 during the $5k cash back "golden opportunity sale" 3-row gray/red - msrg $99,020.
$80,500 + taxes, license OTD - $88k-89k. I also traded my 13 LX 570 for $36k about 76k miles plus it needed 4 new tires.

I would wait till the 3rd week of the month just call and tell them this is where I need to be at. I would also check edmunds and see the dealer's inventory and sometimes they have cars just sitting over 100 days and they need to move them soon. Prices will be cheaper when November comes around.

Z - Look for Harry at Glendale ;-)
I visited 3 dealers and just went with the most aggressive one who wanted to make a deal. Don't let them fool you that the car is going to sell right away, not a lot of people going to walk into a Lexus dealer to buy a LX 570 and spend $100k. Just keep working them, I was going to settle on $81k from one dealer but then the other one texted me and said he would do $80,500 if I come in now to close it out. This is in SoCal - Los Angeles.

Dave,

There is very little 2018 LX inventory in NorCal, and less competitive pricing than SoCal. You can probably get them down to $82.5K or if you're willing to fly down to SoCal to pick up a car I think you can get a little lower.

I think the deals will get better at the end of this month and in fourth quarter when the 2019 LX's start arriving. However the 2018 inventory will start to really thin out by then as they just don't make that many of these $100K trucks.

With tax and interest over the course of time this truck is going to cost us $100K!!! Stepping back and thinking about it that's just kinda nuts. We keep our cars for decades though (currently driving 2004 LS430 and 2006 GX470), so I keep telling myself that over 20 years of ownership it's worth it!!!

Good luck with your purchase!

-Z

Yipster, How do you like the gray/red now that you've had it little while? We're thinking about the same color combination as it's very unique, but I can only find one and it's in Atlanta, GA. -Z

the red interior is nice it will grow on you.
makes it look more sporty.

Silver / red is ok too. You will
not go wrong.

i don’t wash my car that often so gray doesn’t look that dirty. Was going to get a white / red but the gray / red was a better deal.
