Default Front Cup Holders - Adequate?

In advance of test driving the car, I have a question for you all - are the pre-2016 front cup holders able to accommodate two 30oz tumblers (Yeti, RTIC, etc)? I’ve read that the cup holders aren’t great, but haven’t seen specific commentary on Yetis. Thanks!

Don't waste your time looking at the Lexus. The cup holders are pitiful. Nothing more than shallow holes in plastic with no side support . They won't even hold standard 12 and 16 oz plastic bottles upright during normal driving. The only saving grace for you would be that the LX range is so minimul (due to poor gas milege and a small fuel tank) that you will need required pee stops and gas stops at frequent intervals. Of course, you'll be holding your big gulp cup between your legs, because there is no place in the Lexus to secure it.

Anyone know why the cup holders on the LX570 are so shallow? Seem like with the truck being so tall up. the cup holders should be deep.

Take the Yeti with you when you go car shopping?

Sounds like a typical first-world issue.

The cup holder problem is a long time problem for as long as I can remember. Even the prior gens LX/LC had small shallow cup holders.

We test drove an LX last night and the front cup holders fit 2 Yetis just fine. I get that the cup holders are shallow, but we did not experience any spillage during driving.

If there is one thing that we LEXUS owners can do right it’s define the term “first world problems”. Lol.

Get a Subaru Ascent, dozens of cupholders and they can all hold Yeti's. Bad news is it's a Subaru Ascent.

Love our LX's, (have had three) but sure aren't going to spill any drink by rapid acceleration.

The Subaru Ascent got recalled very soon after its release and Subaru HQ replaced with NEW units to the owners who bought them (not too many as most new units were still on dealer lots or enroute).

I've heard some complaints (some forum, some auto "journalists" if we can even call them that) regarding lack of viable cup holders.

Putting things into perspective...

I think its ok to have an imperfect single/dual cupholder situation and a worthy trade off when you have one of the sexiest, futuristic cars out there that will still look brand new in 15 years.
