Default Issues with 2016 LX570

I have had my 2016 LX570 since December of last year, since then it has been in the shop a number of times, it first started with that the second row seat didn't fold down on one side and now it has spent almost 40 days in service for noises from the second row seats. Is anyone else having this issue?

They also replaced the drivers side mirror due to wind noise, unfortunately it still exists at 60+ MPH and the Master Service Tech said that it was turbulence from the mirror.

I would appreciate any feedback on this issue as this is extremely frustrating. I have only this LX570 for 6 months, my previous LX570 was a 2014 and fortunately I didn't run into these issues.

40 days in service for noise?

I can not believe they replaced an outside mirror for wind noise at 80+ mph.

Are you sure the root cause is the driver side outside mirror?

Try moving the roof top cross bars to different positions and lock the bars in and go take a drive and see if the noise is still there.

Sounds like an incompetent dealer who as yet has the common sense to involve a Lexus regional rep. Why, after > a month in the shop, haven't you made the call??

You may also want to do a bit of homework and read your states Lemon Law, if your state has one.

Wind noise from mirror is unusual...as was posted, move the front cross bar fully forward and the rear bar fully back. See if it still makes noise at 80.

Good luck, and please report back.
