Looks like I may have touched a nerve just a little...maybe.

I've been here (not that it matters) since June, 2015. I do own an LX as well as a Land Cruiser...that's been my sig after each post since June, 2015. Both are paid for.

I was happy with my self-worth prior to buying the LX. I tend not to judge people by what they drive. If you do, that's just fine with me.

Thanks for posting.

From what I've seen the LX is more luxurious than the Landcruiser.

I would personally prefer the extra luxuriousness of the LX570 but I would recommend whichever you find the best deal on. The technology inside of the LX is very impressive.

I would prefer an LC, but around here (Houston, TX) they are really hard to find. When we were looking, we found around 10 LXs to every one LC.

I love my 2011 LX, but will probably try harder to find Land Cruiser when it's time to upgrade.

The smaller wheels on the Land Cruisers have more all-terrain tire options, and I prefer less electronic doo-hickies like the power folding seats and things like that.

I guess it all depends on how you intend to use it.

Good luck! Can't go wrong with either, they are both amazing machines!

Wheels can be changed easily enough. To me, hardware wise it comes down to the suspension and whether you plan on upgrading it. With a stock suspension the LX has the edge, because of the AHC; with an upgraded OME/King/Icon setup the LC has the edge, but those custom suspensions will erase any cost advantage the LC had.

Stereo and sound insulation are the other considerations. Oh, and cheap nasty fake wood in the LC. I would cover that with black vinyl in the first day of ownership.

Agreed if you're buying new. After a few years (aka if you're buying used) they seem to depreciate at a similar rate, according to Autotrader.
