Changing new wheels for 2017 LX 570
Hi everyone, i just bought the new 2017 lexus lx 570 and i want to change the wheels to 22", so i want to know what to do with the tire pressure monitoring system! please help
If you decide to buy new sensors, make sure that you know their IDs before mounting them. Tire shops usually are not able to scan and read IDs for '16 and '17 LX while TPMS sensors are mounted in the tires. If you know the IDs, you can also use some cheap tools like Ateq Quickset TPMS to write the new sensors to ECU.
Why do you want to change wheels to 22"? It does not make any sense. Worse comfort, no offroad capability. Go for 20" and preserve at least some offroad capabilities. But 18" is much better choice.

I was thinking the exact same thing, but to each his own. Plus you must have thousands of dollars to just blow for a 1 inch bigger rim. I can see plastic dipping the existing rims or painting them for a different look. But making this vehicle ride awful because of less sidewall and making is less functional makes absolutely no sense at all. But again to each his own!!!

This is where I have my indifference with Japanese styling. It has too much fare. While the wheels looks nice, I think this truck would look much better in fatter rear 20s and more sidewalls. Wald has some "addons" for BMW too and frankly, it looks yuck.
