Default Motor Trend 2016 Land Cruiser Test...

Yes indeed...I know a Land Cruiser is not an LX, but there's enough commonality between the 2 that I thought this was worth posting. LX info toward the end...

Aaannnd, right on cue, MT mistakes the Lexus hydraulic suspension for "air suspension." No wonder people are so misinformed.

I've been here and on the Lexus owners club websites for about 18 months and on Mud since the summer of 2009. I also hit a British LC/LX site, the TLCA website, expedition portals, and others at least once a month.

I will guarantee you, SeaHawg, that I see "air" suspension referenced here FAR more than the other sites combined.

The "air suspension" is exactly why I will never own MB or RR products- great vehicles under warranty terrible reliability post-warranty. Hydraulics, just like in my Kubota tractor, are generally far more reliable than anything pneumatic...

I'm with you. I didn't buy either wife's LX nor my LC to resell in 2 or 3 years.

OT a little.. I've got a B7200D for cleaning up after equines, an M4900 to pull a baler, bale wagon, and other stuff. Great machines...like the LX or LC of tractors. Last month, neighbor and I bought a Kioti DX65 with cab, air, heat, and music. Corrugating the hay fields starts next week.
