Default Easy Access Feature

Did anyone have the same issue when you park the car and don't turn off the car immediately, the suspension will not lower even with the Easy Access on?

I'm not sure if there is a setting or how long is the timer, but it happened to me many times already after I stop and put it in Park, but didn't kill the ignition immediately and went to check my messages first, the car will stay in Normal position when you turn off the car later

somewhere I read (maybe in the manual) that the vehicle lowers in the first 30 seconds. If the ignition is not turned off within that 30 seconds it will stay in the normal position

I didn't even open those thick books, the tech guy at my dealer also said it could affect if the car is on a slope

I don't want rushing to turn the ignition off every time park LOL, why have to be 30 seconds...

+1 on the big books. I really don't know where I read the info and even if it's accurate. I don't sweat it to play hurry up on the 30 sec. Give it a test and see if that works. I do know I can really tell the difference when the car does not lower when getting in/out so I try to abide with the 30 sec rule.

This is a feature that at first I thought I would be very excited about and then... gave up on it. Since I have two teen daughters and a wife who seem to think that opening the door is the first thing you do when the car comes to a stop... and sometimes before... it never actuates when we are in the car. It does then lower once everyone has exited and almost as if in a sigh of relief that we have left. Damn car.

On my 2013 LX, there is a button with a person and window symbol it you have that thing on the car will lower as soon as the car is stop. Haven't driven the LX over two weeks, will have to check this over the weekend.

The light is on, is the timer that really annoying...

When the car is lower it is noticeable, especially when climbing back to the car, if it is not lower, will need to use the step; but when it is lowered, I can just jump into the car.

Check over the weekend, sure enough I got out out the LX before it lower. This function is for slow/old people that can't move quickly

I love the easy access feature of my 2013 LX570 because its easier to go in and out of the SUV. It lowers the car every time you turn off the ignition but not sure about the 30 second rule. For what I know...LX should be on a flat surface and you should turn off ignition before anybody opens any door or else it would not work. I like the stance of it when I see my LX parked with the easy access feature.
