I recently just bought a 2011 LX 570, when is the fuel light supposed to come on? I drove it till it said 15 miles to empty and still nothing. Just want to make sure it works. Thanks

 

The last time mine lit up was with 10 mte, but gauge showed a tiny bit less than 1/8 of a tank. MTE is only an estimate, as is the "range" number.

From what I can figure at zero miles left you have about 4 gallons of fuel left in the tank. The light is not really dependable to come on at a certain time but will if you get into that last 4 gallons. Every vehicle will vary.
