Fuel Gauge

guys:

just wondering:

once while my fuel light was ON, then I filled the gas, but I could only fill it around 16 gallons or so.

another time, while it was half empty, I filled it, and it was approx only 7 gallons or so..???

any idea?

thats about right. Full tank is only about 18 or 19 gallons.

what i was not sure before i guess is the amount of fuel reserve when the light is ON...

could it be 3 gallons then ?

there are always fuel in the lines and stuff. and also, the light comes on with couple of gallons before the tank is completely empty
