I need to pull this assembly out. Does anyone know where the clips/hooks are located? Ideally, someone has pictures from Techinfo or has done it before.

In other/most vehicles, you just need to pull it up. This one, however, is "fighting" it, and I am not going to apply excessive force without knowing that I am doing the right thing (i.e., I'm not sure if I need to pry, remove something else, etc.).

Hey there! I know this is a very old thread, but did you ever figure out how to remove the front cupholder assembly?

 

It just pulls straight up and out. When you think you are pulling too hard, pull harder.
