Ceramic type brake pads have been around for quite some time, and they claim they provide better braking, longer life and no black dust on the rims etc. I personally don't know anyone who has used them either, but in general I believe they do provide numerous advantages. I can't judge this particular brand though. One thing to keep in mind is warranty considerations - as the pads are not OEM, I'm not sure what the agency would say, and whether or not it would void the vehicle's warranty.

Any one tried them on LX570 ???

Carbotech has been making brake pads for a very long time. They have been making performance-oriented pads for many higher end cars, and comes with MANY different types of pads to suit your needs. It's best to email them and find out which series is best for your type of driving. If they don't have it, they can probably make it for you. I know a few IS-F and M3 owners who are using these pads with great results. Don't know anyone with an LX570 though.
