Default anyone done the oil change yourself?

i searched a bit and was hoping to do the oil change myself. anyone done it yet? if so, any pictures? someone mentioned removal of a guard?

I wouldn't really know, but that may ruin the warranty plan.

if the guard is put back on properly, it should not ruin the warranty.

Default diy oil change

am i the only one on this forum who did their own oil change? it took me a while, my first with this suv, because of the oil filter tool needed. i put in synthetic. now, to rotate those tires . . .

Default for those interested, i rotated the tires

including the spare, reset the tire pressure monitor. I was worried that these tires would weight 100#, but i would guess they're more like 80#, heavy, but not unmanageable.

Thanks. Actually, I was a little surprised by the cartridge type filter in this engine instead of the more conventional canister.

Default propellar shaft lubrication

should be done every 15k miles. anyone done this at dealer? if so, how much was the service. i guess I'm asking how much was the 15k or 30k service for you (these services should include this.) i lubricated the shafts myself at 18k, but it was a chore to get at all the zerks. i may need to pay next time.
