engine is barely different than the tundra (uses regular im assuming) I doubt it "really needs" premium, I really would like to know how this engine would ever knock in its N/A form unless youre breathing volcanic heated air.

I put regular in all my cars including my 12cyl Bentley. Have never noticed a difference in performance!!!!! why waste the mone?

I have sitched back and forth from premium and back to regular in my LX570. I find I get slightly less MPG, maybe 1-2 MPG less on regular. I can detect no loss of power or knocking. For those who believe that premium is the way to go, it is only a little extra when you consider gas is over $4 per gallon, not near the extra cost when premium was only a little over a dollar per gallon!

It seems to almost pay for itself.
