My 360 camera is set to go automatically on when car slows down to 5mph, then switches back to map once I start moving. I was driving in the city and had my navigation working. I stopped at a red light, camera switched on, but once I got moving it tried switching back to map and instead black screen was on for about 15-20sec and only then it switched back to map. Then at the next stop the camera would not switch on at all, it would just be black screen and then very slowly, about 20sec time it would go back to maps. I had to pull over and stop and it took a while for the camera to turn back on...once that happened I disabled automatic camera switch and for the rest of the drive navigation was working well. Came home, switch the camera back to auto and so far it's working OK. I experienced this same issue one time when I had a 2021 GX460 (it also had panoramic monitor and the same thing happened once when I was using navigation directions, but otherwise it would switch perfectly fine between camera and map screen). Has anyone experienced this issue in their LX? The fact that it happened to me twice (once in the '21GX and now in '21LX) and both times it happened when I was using navigation directions makes me think there might be some kind of bug in these systems.

 

I am having the exact same trouble. In my 19 LX, in traffic, with NAVI on, the screen goes black, sometimes for 15 minutes. I had the dealer look at it, but they can’t easily duplicate the problem. I’m going to turn off the auto-on camera in stop/go traffic when NAVI is on and see if it continues. I think the system is relay based, instead of solid state (2008 technology!) and they get hung up. I’ll report back.

 

Same happened to my MY15. it's random and doesn't happen often.... a 'restart' of the vehicle would do it. Could be a software glitch / SAT signal
