Default 360 camera and navigation

I'm interested in a new 2022 IS350 F Sport. I was trying to decide whether the 360 camera is worth it. It seems all cars that come with the 360 camera also include the navigation, which I don't need, so it adds around $2500 total when you combine the two. Also, it seems that I can special order the 360 camera without nav. I'm wondering if there are any issues with the backup camera + 360 camera on the smaller screen.

You actually can't order anything at the moment. All custom orders are suspended, and even if they were still active, the factory reserves the right to reject awkward combinations, and I will tell you right now, the 360 camera on the 8" screen is not only not possible, but would very awkward if it was even possible due to the weird proportions of the 8" screen. The 8" screen is also very low res and dated. If there's one option that I would say is an absolute must is the 10 inch screen. It sucks that we are forced to get navigation in order to get said screen, but it is what it is. I personally find myself using the 360 camera every time I park because I don't want to scratch the bumper on a parking stop. It's worth it in my opinion.

I agree; the larger screen is very much worth the money. If you're ponying up for the 360 camera, you owe it to yourself to get the larger screen. To be honest, though, I'd rather have the larger screen with parking sensors than to have the 360 camera. The car is not that hard to park in my experience. Just food for thought - if you have made your mind up that you need the 360 camera, I say go for it.
