Default AHS (automatic height control) Light

I have a 2013 LX 570 with about 180,000 miles on it. When it had about 120,000 miles on it my AHC light came on and it stayed in the Low position. I had it replaced for $3500 and it’s been fine. A month ago the light came back on and it stayed in the low position.

Today the car went back to the N position. The car raised up and it is still in the N position. If my pump was bad, then I don’t think the car would raise up. Does anyone know what I’m dealing with? Could it possibly be a fuse problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

i would def see if there is AHC fluid in the reservoir! No fluid = no hydraulics. It is behind the wheel wall of the passenger side rear wheel. there is a little door

if I’ve lost my hydraulics, then why would it randomly raise back up to the neutral position?

I added hydraulic fluid to the reservoir. Pushed the AHC button and the car raised up. Then put it in the N position. Then put it in the L position. When I went to raise it up, the AHC light came on and it is stuck in the L position again.

The AHC light has been on for several weeks. Yesterday it automatically went to the N position. And today it’s back to the L position.

Any thoughts?

well if the reservoir was low, your AHC pump MAY pull in air, and air bubbles in a hydraulic line make it not work.
i am not saying this is it, but worth a check before shelling out the big bucks~

And now it automatically raised up and is in the N position. I am taking it to the Lexus dealership on December 18.

I’m going to let the Lexus dealership check it out and then I will probably take it to my local mechanic to hopefully fix the problem.
