LX 470 before 2006 with 220K, how much?
Hi all, recently bought a GX460 2022, and love everything about it, and lexus as a brand.
So now I consider buying a used LX 470 for my fun project since my wife doesn't allow me to modify my new GX
i am looking at an lx470 2000 with 220K miles in good condition, and the seller is asking for 13.5K in San Jose CA.
Is this a fair price? if not, how much should i pay?
thanks.

That's your homework.
A series 100 will be scarce, you may need to travel to get to it...I've driven to Oregon and flown from Boise to Spokane for used trucks, both LX and Land Cruiser. ih8mud.com is a great resource. Check the 100 series forum area for more knowledge.

i did a quick drive test this afternoon and the car seem fine. I did not have enough time, so i schedule to meet him again at my trusted mechanic to check it out thoroughly, and test drive more.
I just check the lexus drivers for service history, and it cut short after 55K miles. He said it's been maintained at a local shop, not a lexus one and promised to bring some service records for me.
if all is ok, is 13.5K a fair price?
thanks.
