I put this cheat sheet together after seeing so many people struggle with some of the basic maintenance items on the AHC system. It's a complex system, but many of the faults are due to basic lack of maintenance and Lexus dealers are, unfortunately, some of the contributing offenders. The system absolutely requires maintenance and if you ever run into a shop that says it's best not to touch the system, it might be good to show them this video to use as a guide.

I'd add that it also might be good to find a shop that knows what the hell they're doing.
I'd also add that it's the torsion bar ADJUSTING BOLT that you turn, not the bar itself.
Excellent thread, YotaMD...thank you.

Haha, yes. What still just astounds me is how few shops even want to touch it - including Lexus dealers! And then when they do, half the estimates seem to be for $5,000 while the shop didn't check pressures or gradations.
Good point on the torsion bar. adjustment bolt first, then reindex if needed (shouldn't be needed).
