Personally, I would get a little thicker sidewall tires, like 60 or 65 series. Thanks for sharing.
That was my initial intention. I was looking for an 18" rim but could not find one locally. So I went with a 20" so to prevent rubbing i got 55's. This will do just fine for it's intended purpose of beach driving and some mountain trails. Nothing serious.

Thanks

Troy

LED Lights for the Bull Bar came in today. Mounted and tested them out. Waiting for wiring harness and switches to complete installation.

Question Curious...

...about why 2nd battery is in storage area in rear instead of under the hood as is usually done.

Easy answer. Its portable. I also ran 2 sets of cables so all my accessory lighting will connect under the hood but the solar panel I plan to install will connect in the rear. I can also run cables under my 2017 LX and easily move it between vehicles.

Default Versus stock?

How do these compare to stock for light output? Getting tired of trying to see the road with stock headlights. What was the company and how easy was the installation?

I found the best lighting bang for the buck was converting the low beams to HID, and the high beams to 9011 HIR bulbs. HID's came from http://ddmtuning.com and included H1 bulbs 5K iirc, 50 watt ballasts, and an easy to install harness that triggered power to the ballasts via the oem wiring. Easy installation. The 9011's fit the oem power socket and need a small trim job (google) to fit the oem light fixture.

The improvement was fantastic, especially for the money I spent. I liked the HIDs so much that I converted the oem foglights. We get real fog where I live, so I went with simply 35W ballasts and bulbs around 3K. Major improvement over oem white lights in fog penetration.

I've seen a few LED headlight conversions, but I have not seen one yet that will throw the light like an HID

HID 6000K Light output is awesome. This set takes H1 HighBeam and H7 Low beam. I bought off ebay here is the link

Bolted down a 13" W x 23" L x 13" H, 2 shelf black wire rack in the rear hatch to hold the 2nd battery, Inverted, OXX Rugged Coffee BOXX, and Jump Box. Worked real well. Made a run to the beach. Super soft sand this weekend had to gun it all the way. Pretty bumpy and it all stayed right in place.

The OXX Rugged Coffee BOX is AWESOME!!! Check it out.

I love your build! The LX470 is my favorite SUV and I love how you styled it. i hope to get one and get a nice build going like yours.

How do you like those headlights? I saw them on eBay and wondered how they performed at night. Also, what brand are your wheels?
