Hi everyone. I got tired of ckrackling sound in my front lower speakers (both sides) and opened up the door panels to see what's wrong. I discovered that both speakers are ripped, so I did what most people here did - silicone glued it. Now I have this bad feeling that this fix is not for long. So can you guys recommend which speakers should I buy to replace Just front lower ones on both sides?
Another question is, the ML system includes 11 speakers. I can only find 7 (two tweeters on the dash +2 in front doors + 2 in rear doors + 1 sub), where is another 4?

 

I believe that if you go into the lexusownersclub.com site someone there posted specs on the spreakers in the sc430 i dont see any reason why the LS speakers would be much different. They give the impedence and wattage nominal and maximum output may help in choosing replacements.
AS for the number of speakers in the system i believe that the speaker are dual concentric meaning there are 2 drivers in 1 speaker ,so your door speakers are dual concentric.

Hi everyone. I learned the hard way which size speakers are in the front. I went to best buy and checked up on their fitment guide that i need 5 1/4 for the front. THIS IS NOT TRUE. The configurator is wrong! I needed 6 1/2 speakers for the front. I exchanged 5's for 6's and installed them that evening. I bought Infiniti Reference 180W speakers. They sound amaizing compared to stock ML. Now, I'm just waiting for sub (JL Audio) to come in on friday. It's gonna be
