Default rear air?

Hi all. I am new to the forum. I have an 03 GX and just purchased an 07 LX - we needed more kid-room. With my GX, the rear a/c could be controlled by a separate panel in the back. I don't see anything like that on the LX. All I see on the front control panel is a button for rear air. How do I control the temp in the back? Or does it automatically blow the same temp in the front?

Thanks

That is great, I will have to check it out. It's at the body shop right now getting repaired. It was damaged in transport. Makes me sick but it will be perfect once I get it back.

Thanks!

GX2LX, welcome to the LX fam. Post some pics of your LX for us to check out! BTW, if you haven't already noticed, the rear control has an AUTO button. It allows you to preset a temp in the back, then when you press your REAR AIR button, the auto control takes over from there.

Will do! It should be out of the body shop by next week. I'll take some pics then.

I didn't have much chance to get used to the controls before I gave it to the shop. Many of them are similar to my GX but in the case of the rear air, not so much!

A friend of mine has the GX and the rear air control is on the back of the center console facing the 2nd row of passengers, correct?

Yes the rear air on the GX is on the back of the center console. I got used to adjusting that from the driver's seat.

Finally picked up the vehicle this week. I have say, that is an awkward location to have the rear air controls. It wouldn't be bad if our passengers were grown, but little kids can't adjust the a/c! Guess I need to play with the auto feature a bit. Overall I love this vehicle though. It rides like a dream and feels very solid. I also like the extra storage in the front console. I was always looking for places to put things in my GX.
