I have a 2006 LX470 and I took 100k Lexus Care warranty by paying $2200. I think this is absolutely a ripoff, as each time there is a repair, they say it is not covered. My driver side power window was making noise while going down and I thought this should be covered in the warranty. Lexus Care says that the bolts are loose, it is not a mechanical failure and hence will not cover.

I did not have any problems so far, other than the regular maintenance. Hence I would suggest that it is not worth it.

I have close to 96000, any one experienced any problems?

yes i started to hear my driver side window's motor getting louder too... wonder when that's gonna fail. I have a 2003 LX with 101k miles.

oh yeah, and my tilt motor on the steering column failed already...
