Hi. This is my first post on the Lexus forum. I drive a 1998 LX 470. Recently it has been squeaking from the engine. First the sqeaking in not so bad. Then after 5 or so mins on the road it gets louder and louder. It is sometimes a constant squeak and then sometimes their are 1 second pauses between sqeaks. Im not sure what belt it is. I wanted to know what needs to be replaced. Please give me detailed information on how to fix this problem. Thanks for the help.

 

if the belts are good, press down on the belts to see if they are loose.
