Default Electric Window Problem

The electric windows on my 450 don't seem to like the cold weather. Putting a window down appears normal, however, when the the temp drops getting a window up is a problem. The electric motors sounds like they are under a heavy load and grown. The windows are very slow to go up and the colder it gets, the worse the problem, to the point that sometimes the windows stop moving all together and I have to help them out by pulling them up by hand. Annoying when it is mine, and down right aggravating when it's one I can't reach while driving and have to stop and get out to fix!

I'm wondering if the electric motors are just old and need replaced. If so, is this an easy fix (ie: something I could do myself)?

I would take off the door panel and clean around the motor.
