Default Power window problem

On my driver side door panel of my 2002 lx470, I can only operate the driver side window. I tried the lock/unlock button the for the windows and it does nothing. You can operate the passenger windows from the respective door panel and if I hit the window lock button, you can't open the windows at all. Is the fuse to that driver control seprate from the rest of the windows? I just hope it's not a faulty wire harness in my door panel.

I can only say for the '03+, but each window has it's own fuse, so since your individual windows all work, they fuses are not the problem. The only way the master switch communicates w/ the other window switches is via a yellow wire w/ black stripe that goes from the master switch, out the driver's door to a junction block in the lower left kick panel, then splits to the left rear door switch and right side front & rear door switches. I suspect you have a short in this wire between the master switch and junction block in the left kick panel. On the '03, if you look at the junction box, the bottom has a triangular shape. At the bottom of that triangle are two junction blocks. One is large (40 pins or so) while the other one next to it (towards the rear of the box) has only 14 pins, 7 in two columns. The column of pins closest to the driver's door are numbered pin 8 from the bottom to pin 14 at the top. Pin 10 is where the yellow/black wire from the master switch enters the block. I would measure this wire for continuity between there and the master switch. I've heard what sometimes happens is the wire breaks internally where it exits the door due to opening/closing the door so many times.
