Based on what you are looking for, I would highly recommend the Michelin CrossTerrain or Michelin Pilot II. These tires are excellent in threadwear, traction, smoothness, quietness and good handling xteristics especially on the freeways. I have the Pilot II on my '03 LX with 4K miles on it so far, and it looks brand spanking new. After trying out a few tires on my Sequoia - Dueller, Dunlop, and Michelin LTX M&S, I went for the CrossTerrains and it was great... smooth, quiet and excellent road manners. Of the two (Pilot or C/T), I'd go with the C/T, IMO, it is the best SUV tire out there today for driving on pavements.

Costco, Discount Tires, Tirerack, any local shops with a Hunter alignment machine... may need some balancing and alignment... dunno tho'. Personally, I use either Costco or Discount Tires. Their prices are OK for me.

Default Michelin Cross Terrain SUVs

I replaced the stock Michelins with these tires at about 60k and I'm very happy with them. The tires are very quiet, and I think the handling in all types of weather (dry, rain, snow) is about as good as it can be in a big suv like the LX. I used to swap winter and summer tires when I had other vehicles, but this setup, the LX and Michelins, is the one vehicle that is truly an all-weather no compromise package. It may be my imagination, but I think the Cross Terrains are even better tires than the stock LTX M/S. The vehicle handles and looks like new again.
