Keeps shuting off battery dead
Hello,
A bit more detail would be helpful.
Is the Battery, or any other Light on?
How does the car Start with a new Battery?
What Brand did you go with for the Alternator?
What's the voltage on the Battery when the car Stalls?
What's the Voltage in the System when the car is Running?
If the car Starts and Runs fine with a New battery until it dies at some point, all that points to the Alternator issue, or something in its vicinity. Here is a thread on how to troubleshoot a No Charge Condition, in short, start by checking the Voltages mentioned above, if the Voltage dips below 14V when Running, check the Voltage on the B+ Terminal of the Alternator, if it's the same Low Voltage there, the Alternator is fried or the Signal Wires coming to it are damaged somewhere, if the Voltage is 14V or Higher on the B+ Terminal, you have a Bad Connection somewhere between the B+ Terminal and the Fuse Box, as mentioned in the thread linked above.
New Alternators could be an even bigger menace than your fried OEM unit, here is a thread about that as well, unless it's a Denso Rebuilt unit from a reputable store, aka not eBay or Amazon, don't count on it too much, even if it works now, it will fold soon after.
Hope this helps and best of luck!
