VGRS Issue
Hi,
I am looking at purchasing an 06 LX470 and I have a question concerning the VGRS and the possibly of triggering the ABS system. The car I am looking (at dealer) had extensive work done in their shop. One of the issues was listed as check ABS/SRS light. The salesman told me that they replaced some components of the SRS system and that they ABS light was triggered by a VGRS fault witch they also fixed and light is out. He supplied the receipt that they replaced the steering shaft assembly- very expensive part. He said that its common that VGRS faults also trigger ABS. I did a little research and I guess this controls the steering control. My question is- is this plausible or possible that a fault with this system could trigger an ABS code? I understand the only way to know for sure is to read the code but I am just looking at taking the next step. Thanks
