I have a chrome trim ring that goes around the shifter. It will fit the new ls, but may fit others.... Not sure on that but I am sure all you will have to do is call Lexus and ask. Price is negotiable. Make an offer, it is new.

Hmmm, I am not sure. If you like to call the dealer and ask. I am pretty sure it will. The GS did not change from the 98 to now. They only changed the way the sell it. As part of the whole console. Anyway, call Lexus and ask about the one for your year. Then you can call another lexus and call about the 2002. Just get the part #'s so you can match them. I am pretty sure it will work. Here is a pic of the bottom clips so you can try and compare it to yours... Let me know..

I have a 99 GS300 and I am interested in the shift trim. First of all, it's new right? Second of all, is it easy to install? Most importantly, how much do you want fo rit?

It will not fit a 99GS.. That is what I have. The tabs in the wrong positions, and it is a wee bit smaller than the GS trim ring. It is brand new Lexus OEM. You might be able to just sit it on the shifter assembly, but you would probably have to cut off some or all the tabs so it will sit flush. NEway, I will sell it for $30 plus the shipping, unless you want to come and get it. I live in Sorrento Valley. It is South of San Clemente and Oceanside at the 5/805 split. Maybe 25 mins from Irvine. I used to work there in Tustin.
