Default Can Audio be set as the default in Nav?

I have a 2004 LS430 that I just got a few months ago that came with the factory navigation.I would really prefer to have the audio be the default. Actually I would love to not have to deal with the warning message that comes up and says not to use the navigation while in motion but I don't think that can be turned off.

Currently I have to hit the OK to the warning and then push the Audio button every time I start the car. I'm curious if there is a way to make it at least go from the warning to the Audio. Anyone know if that's possible?

Thanks....

Press option > information > screen transition and turn it off, then it'll stay on the last screen it was left on.

That will only keep the screen from going back to navigation during the current drive cycle, but you will still have to press ok and then the audio button when you start the car. There is a more complicated work around, but you'll have to search for it.

Yes, that seems correct. I check my screen transition setting and it was already turned off.

I've been searching and can't find any info on turning it off. If someone knows where the info is on the complicated work around can you post the link here?

Thanks...

I don't think it's possible.
One of my pet peeves is having the screen in Audio mode, then after going into reverse it automatically goes back to NAV.

Yep. This is the single most annoying feature in the entire car. For me anyway.

I think we're stuck with it and I agree it's annoying.

Personally, I'm also not a big fan of so many controls having to be run through a touchscreen.
Do I really need to go through a menu option just to turn my fan up or down a notch? I prefer ***** and buttons that can quickly be accessed.

just use the temperature controls which are physical buttons. if you leave it in auto all the time it should work fine for controlling the fan speed.

I like to fine tune it rather than leaving it on auto.
