I'm looking to purchase a 2004-2005 LS430 and want one with the ultra luxury package. Are there any distinguishing features that make a certain LS430 equipped with this package.

 

There are A/C, and RADIO controls on the REAR seat armrest...

There are buttons for the adjustable susp and adjustable riding height right in front of the shifter.On the outside front the newer 04 and 05 radar cruise control is right in front of the lexus logo on the grille.The early 04s have the sensor at the botton of the grille area

don't forget semi-aniline/nappa leather upgrade and alcantra headliner. Also, in the ultra (as well as the custom) luxury packages, the armrests on the doors, center console sides, glove box and various other pieces of the interior are wrapped in leather where the base models have been left naked.

 

Do all the Ultra packages come with the 'radar' cruise control or was it an add on to the Ultra package?

Not sure if you are still looking, but my 2004 LS430 UL is for sale. You can find it on Autotrader.com if you're interested. It is the one listed for $47,500 with around 40,000 miles on it.
