I was talking car mods and it came to HID's. Enough of you have fitted them in your DOT housings, and the 98+ along with retro projector mods. I'd like to get an idea how these look across many cars in terms of color, beam pattern, etc.
Snap some pics and post them here along with the specs and mods to the headlight assembly.

This is the stock halogen pattern of my '97. The fog light shot I had rolled forwards about 15' so the distance perspective is a bit shifted from the prior shot. Still a basic idea of the halogen output. IMO, pretty decent.

 

Only on LS400s? Or any Car?

This was before I smashed up my front end, when I rebuild her I wanna buy some DEPO clear lensed headlights, should be a sharper cutoff and significantly less glare into the high-beam path than the OEM fluted lens.

Where i am there are Tons of Dark Spots where i live Always Going from Ontario to Los Angeles and Riverside.

 

I'll try to upload pictures of mines when I have a chance.. I should have pictures of the LS430 retro on my eagle lights from before.. If not I can take some of my LS460 retro (same housing just different projector)
