Ok sorry guys for the many threads - this is likely the last one for a while
1. 2019 LS500 with 39k miles. Clean PPI and warranty for another 9 months. 53k
2. 2018 LS500h with 2/k miles, certified. 68k
Both are equally loaded with the executive package and other goodies.
I drove the h and it felt heavier, less nimble but super nice. I prefer to keep the 15k in my pocket but am hoping someone could interject if they feel that the h is the better buy, will hold value more, etc. thanks!
Avoid 2018-2020 unless you don't drive in the city. The lag and poor shifting sucks around town. I would avoid 2018 if I was you (I owned a 2018).... first year bugs.

I don't really drive in the city, but good to know!
I have a 2021 LS 500. I owned a 2020 LS before I totalled it in an accident. Other than the run flat tires that makes the suspension a little harsh, the 18-20 LS500 is a great car.
Those seem too expensive. You can get below MSRP on a new one now. I did in July, in SoCal.
The 18 is ridiculously overpriced. However, there are only like 5 for sale in the country and none have the exec package. The 19 is not overpriced at all considering the spec and the market. As a whole the entire market is overpriced. You got one below MSRP? What was the sticker on it if you don't mind sharing, and how much below? Thanks!
pick the 2019 and take it to auto body shop on test drive to make sure it wasn't hit or painted
biggest exposure used is 7000 in loss if car was hit or painted
I got it for $75K. It was white exterior with black interior, which I guess many folks don't like (it had been sitting on the showroom floor for four months, but only had 20 miles). But I definitely wanted a black interior for longevity, and the car is for my wife and she really likes the pearlescent white. So I had to buy it. I had been searching all of the Southwest for an LS for four solid months. There is so little inventory it's tough out there. I had originally wanted an F-sport, but I'm glad I didn't get one. The character of the car is a lot more coherent in the standard configuration, not F-sport.

Reason: clarity

I would go with the LS non hybrid. The hybrid will ultimately need batteries and that is expensive if you plan to keep the car. It's already 3-4 years into the battery usage prices. Simply go on line and you will see how much it really costs to replace. Also like my friend says the Lexus hybrid cars have less room in different areas due to this
